Portobello Pizza

  • 2 Portobello Mushrooms extra large
  • ¼ onion chopped
  • ½ cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup mozzarella shredded


  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp balck pepper
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • tsp red pepper flakes


First Bake

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean the portobello mushrooms and cut off the stems.
  • Chop the stems into small chunks for the topper. Set aside. Watch the video for reference.
  • Brush the mushroom caps with olive oil.
  • Bake the mushrooms for 10 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine all the seasoning and mix.

Second Bake

  • Remove the mushrooms from the oven.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture onto the mushrooms.
  • Add the toppings to the mushroom; pizza sauce, mushroom stem chunks, cheese and pepperoni.
  • Bake the mushrooms for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
