Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • tsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 medium shallot chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat the pan to medium.
  • Add olive oil and butter. Wait until the butter is mostly melted.
  • Add shallot and cook for 2 minutes or until translucent.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
  • Pour white wine and cook for 3 minutes or until half of the wine has cooked down.
  • Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per-side.
  • Pour in lemon juice, red pepper flakes and stir.
  • Season with salt & pepper.
  • Add fresh parsley and mix. Remove the pan from the heat.

Best enjoyed with pasta, toasted bread, vegetables or salad.

    Serve immediately!
