French Onion Dip

Succulently delicious French Onion Dip the entire family will absolutely enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet onions chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup real mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the sauce pan to medium high. Add butter and wait until it is nearly melted.
  • Add onions and mix. Turn down the heat to medium and continue to sauté for 15-20 minutes or until caramelize. Add garlic and cook for 30-45 seconds or until fragrant. Transfer the caramelized onions to a bowl. Set aside and let completely cool.
  • In a separate bowl: add mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and mix everything together. Add caramelized onions and mix. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Remove dip from the refrigerator. Season with salt if needed. Garnish with chopped chives.

Serve with Potato Chips. Enjoy! Can be kept up to a 5 days in the refrigerator.
