Heat the sauce pan to medium high. Add butter and wait until it is nearly melted.

Add onions and mix. Turn down the heat to medium and continue to sauté for 15-20 minutes or until caramelize.

Add garlic and cook for 30-45 seconds or until fragrant. Transfer the caramelized onions to a bowl. Set aside and let completely cool.

In a separate bowl: add mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and mix everything together.

Add caramelized onions and mix.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Remove dip from the refrigerator. Season with salt if needed. Garnish with chopped chives.

Serve with Potato Chips. Enjoy!

French Onion Dip

- 2 sweet onions chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup real mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
