Instructions
Marinate
Thinly slice the steak and place in a bowl.
Cover the meat with 1 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp soy sauce. Mix until well coated. Set aside and marinate for 15 minutes.
Sauce
In a bowl: combine all the sauce ingredients, mix and set aside.
Cook
Heat skillet/pan to medium-high. Add 2 tbsp oil and wait for 1 minute.
Add marinated meat and cook for 5-6 minutes or until no longer pink.
In a small bowl: mix cornstarch and water together
(make sure the cornstarch has dissolved)
.
Add garlic and dried peppers. Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant.
Pour the sauce and cornstarch mixture into the skillet/pan. Mix well.
Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Serve with your favorite rice!
