Place all the ingredients in the slow cooker.

Cook on low for 12-18 hours

(preferably 18 hours)

Discard the bones and vegetables. Place a mesh/strainer on top of a mixing bowl.

Scoop out the grease that is floating around the top.

Pour the liquid through a fine strainer

Discard grease

Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze up to 6 months.

Slow Cooker Chicken Bone Broth

- Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken bones
- 1 onion
- 3 celery stems
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 carrots
- 8 cups water
- 1 tbsp peppercorn optional
- 1 tsp salt
- bay leaves optional
- fresh parsley optional
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 12-18 hours (preferably 18 hours).
- Discard the bones and vegetables. Place a mesh/strainer on top of a mixing bowl. Pour the liquid through a fine strainer or you can scoop out the grease that is floating around the top.
Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze up to 6 months.
