Grilled Cheese Sun Dried Tomato Sliders

I love sun dried tomatoes with salads and added for background flavors when cooking. For this recipe, the Sun Dried Tomatoes take the head-line and do not disappoint with how elegantly they complete the meal to the point of near perfection. This is perfect as a grab and go treat on the road or as a sit down and appreciate appetizer or snack. Best served fresh these sliders are kid friendly and can be enjoyed any time anywhere.

Don’t pull the rolls apart. Cut them in half horizontally. Place the top halves aside and bottom halves in the baking pan.

Spread monterey jack cheese.

Add sharp cheddar cheese.

Add sun dried tomatoes (with oil) on the rolls over the bottom halves.

Then add the top half layer. Brush the melted butter over the tops of the rolls, then sprinkle with dried parsley. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Grilled Cheese Sun Dried Tomato Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 ½ cups monterey jack cheese shredded
  • 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • â…“ cup sun dried tomatoes with oil
  • 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Don’t pull the rolls apart. Cut them in half horizontally. Place the top halves aside and bottom halves in the baking pan.
  • Spread monterey jack cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, and sun dried tomatoes (with oil) on the rolls over the bottom halves. Then add the top half layer. Brush the melted butter over the tops of the rolls, then sprinkle with dried parsley.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Serve & enjoy!

    Mushroom Swiss Burger Sliders

    Using a pan, turn the heat to medium (optional: add 2 tbsp oil). Add ground beef/chuck and cook for 5-6 minutes or until no longer pink. Optional: drain grease. Add salt, pepper, onion, garlic, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and mix. Remove meat and set aside.

    Using the same pan. Add butter and turn up the heat to medium-high. Add sliced onions and cook for 5-6 minutes.

    Add sliced mushrooms and continue to cook for 5-6 minutes. Add salt, pepper, dried thyme, heavy whipping cream & Worcestershire sauce. Mix and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove the pan from heat source.

    Don’t pull the rolls apart. Cut the loaf in half horizontally. Place the top halves aside. Optional: Toast the bottom half in the oven for 3-4 minutes, then remove from the oven.

    Evenly spread the cooked meat over the bottom half of the rolls.

    Then layer with mushroom mixture.

    Add cheese

    Top halves of remaining rolls. Brush the melted butter over the tops of the rolls. Optional: sprinkle with white sesame seeds. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

    Serve & enjoy!

    Mushroom Swiss Burger Sliders

    Ingredients
      

    • 12 Hawaiian rolls
    • 1 lb ground chuck or beef
    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • ½ tsp paprika
    • ½ tsp onion powder
    • ½ tsp garlic powder

    Mushroom Mixture

    • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
    • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp black pepper
    • ½ tsp dried thyme
    • 1 onion sliced
    • 3 garlic cloves minced

    Butter

    • 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
    • white sesame seeds

    Instructions
