Air Fryer Cottage Fries

Cottage Fries are just right for dipping in a little ranch (or your favorite condiment) to create a rich buttery snack after adding tasty seasonings and cooking to delicious near perfection using your air fryer. Enjoy these bites with your favorite potato’s toping that could range from a sour cream mix to a ketchup flavored sweet mix or even smothered in chili and cheese.  This recipe is simple and easy to follow. Perfect for beginners and for those that need to get a good filling side to the table that does not require constant attention during cooking. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Clean and slice the potatoes about ½” thick.

In a bowl: add olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion and mix.

Brush mixture on both sides of the potatoes.

Place the sliced potatoes in the air fryer basket. Make sure to space them apart being careful to not over crowd them.

Air fry for 30 minutes (flip after 15 minutes). Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in multiple batches.

Serve with your favorite dip. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs potatoes yukon (yellow) or russet
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.
  • In a bowl: add olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, onion and mix.
  • Clean and slice the potatoes about ½" thick. Rub mixture on both sides of the potatoes.
