Air Fryer Pickles with Dip

Air Fried pickles have a mouthwatering tartness capped with a crispy outer layer that is ohhh so good when dipped in this sauce. Serve these fresh from the air fryer and enjoy them as an appetizer or beer friendly snack. Once you try the first one the only thing left to do is start eating them two at a time. My teenagers went through the first batch so fast I had to make another one so the rest of use could enjoy them also. Try this recipe and you will see just how easy it is to prepare and fun it is to enjoy.

In a small bowl: combine all the sauce ingredients.

Mix well. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

In a shallow dish: combine flour, garlic, onion, cayenne, Cajun seasoning and mix.

Coat each pickle in the flour mixture and then place on a plate or flat surface. Repeat with the rest of the pickles.

Coat both sides of the pickles with cooking spray.

Preheat the air fryer to 330°F. Coat the bottom of the air fryer with cooking spray. Place the pickles in the basket.

Cook for 20 minutes (flip after 14 minutes)or until lightly golden brown. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to do this in batches.

Serve & enjoy!

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sliced dill pickles
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp ground cayenne pepper

Dipping Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp prepared horseradish
  • ¼ tsp cajun seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish: combine flour, garlic, onion, cayenne, Cajun seasoning and mix.
  • Coat each pickle in the flour mixture and then place on a plate or flat surface. Repeat with the rest of the pickles. Coat both sides of the pickles with cooking spray.

    In a shallow dish: add olive, lime juice, salt, cumin and mix.

    Add flank steak and coat all sides of the beef.

    Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight (preferably). Don’t forget to flip the steak at the half way point.

    Grease the skillet or grill with olive oil. Preheat to medium-high heat and wait for several minutes until hot.

    Sear 3 minutes per-side for medium rare and charred on the outside ~ (5 minutes per-side for medium, 8 minutes per-side for well done).

    Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

    Slice the steak against the grain.

    Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender.

    Blends for 20-30 seconds until it looks minced (do not over blend).

    Season with salt to taste.

    Serve & enjoy!

    Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

    Ingredients
      

    Marinate

    • 1 ½ lbs flank steak
    • ¼ cup olive oil
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 lime juice only

    Chimichurri Sauce

    • 1 cup fresh parsley firmly packed
    • 1 cup fresh cilantro firmly packed
    • ½ cup olive oil
    • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
    • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
    • 1 tsp salt
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
    • 1 small shallot
    • 3 garlic cloves

    Instructions
     

    Marinate

      In a medium size bowl: combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese and mix well.

      In a small bowl: combine melted butter, garlic, dried parsley and a dash of salt. Mix well.

      Separate the dough into 8 triangles.

      Scoop about 2 tbsp of mixture and spread onto the long side of the crescents.

      Gently fold and roll the dough to the point end.

      Brush the garlic butter on top of the crescents.

      Oven: Place the crescents on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

      Air fryer: Coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the crescents in the basket. Cook for 6 minutes or until golden brown. (Do not use parchment paper).

      • 8 Crescents
      • 4 oz cream cheese softened
      • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

      Garlic Butter

      • 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
      • 1 tsp dried parsley
      • ½ tsp garlic powder
      • salt to taste

      Instructions
       

      • In a medium size bowl: combine cream cheese, mozzarella cheese and mix well.

        Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

        Clean and trim fat from the steak. Slice the steak against the grain.

        Place the steak in a bowl. Add cornstarch & baking soda.

        Mix well.

        In the slow cooker: add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, shaoxing wine, oil, garlic and mix.

        Add beef

        Mix until uniformly coated.

        Slow cook on high for 2 ½ – 3 hours (cook on low for 4-5 hours) or until the meat is tender. 

        Remove the lid and mix the beef until well coated with the sauce. Add green onions then mix again. Cover with the lid for 3 minutes or until the green onions have slightly wilted. 

        Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve with rice or vegetables. Enjoy!

          Air Fryer Cream Cheese Wonton is a delicious finger food that is both addictive and lusciously delicious. The crunchy air fried egg noodle wrap has just the right level of crisp and the warm creamy cheese style filling is a comforting taste bud explosion that sends your indulgence receptors into maximum overdrive.  This recipe yields a couple of dozen party pleasures that go great as an appetizer or a stand alone finger food side dish. Being able to cook these in an air fryer make the snack a mobile ready serve experience that can increase the quality of any social gathering. My family scarfed down every last one of them before they had time to properly cool. My husband almost walked away with the entire serving platter to try an hoard the delicious snacks for himself. The teenagers objected and had to grab what they could. Luck for them I was making two batches.

          In a medium sized bowl: combine all the ingredients together (except for the wonton wrappers).

          Mix well.

          Place 1 wrapper in your hand. Use the other hand scoop out 1 tsp of mixture and place it in the center of the wrapper. Wet (water) around the edges of the wrapper (use your finger).

          Fold two corners diagonally together.

          Then fold the other two corners together and press the wrapper firmly until the wonton corners are completely sealed. Repeat with the rest of the wontons. You should have about 22-26. 

          Coat the wontons with cooking spray.

          Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Coat the basket with cooking spray. Place the wontons in the basket. Air fry for 5-6 minutes or until lightly golden.

          Serve with sweet & chili sauce or your favorite dip. Enjoy!

          • 3 green onions chopped
          • 1 tsp granulated sugar
          • 1 tsp garlic powder
          • ½ tsp salt
          • 22-24 won ton wrappers

          Instructions
           

          • In a medium sized bowl: combine all the ingredients together and mix well.
          • Place 1 wrapper in your hand. Use the other hand scoop out 1 tsp of mixture and place it in the center of the wrapper. Wet (water) around the edges of the wrapper (use your finger).             Slow Cooker Corned Beef is delicious and tender, my family loved it and yours will too.             Place corned beef in the cooker. Add water, spice seasoning (that came with the corned beef), onion, garlic, potatoes, carrots & bay leaves. Place lid on.

            Slow cook on for 4 hours on high or for 8 hours on low.

            Meanwhile, remove the cabbage core/stem and cut into 4 wedges. Discarded the core. After the time is up, add cabbage to the cooker (try to submerge in the water). Cover with lid.

            Cook on high for 1 hour or low for 2 hours or until the cabbage & beef become fork tender.

            In a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients together and mix.

            Season with salt & pepper to taste. Set aside until ready to serve.

            • 3 ½ – 4 lbs corned beef brisket with spice packet
            • 4 cups water
            • 1 cabbage
            • 5 small yukon gold potatoes
            • 5 medium size carrots
            • 1 onion
            • 4 garlic cloves
            • 3 bay leaves

            Creamy Horseradish Sauce

            • ½ cup sour cream
            • 2 tbsp prepared horseradish +/- adjust to your liking
            • 2 tsp dijon mustard
            • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
            • salt & pepper to taste

            Instructions
             

            • Clean, rinse and pat the corned beef dry with papper towel. Set aside. Remove the onion's outer dry layer and then cut into quarters. Clean and then cut the potatoes in half. Chop the carrots top and tips off then peel and slice in half. 
            • Place corned beef in the cooker. Add water, spice seasoning (that came with the corned beef), onion, garlic, potatoes, carrots & bay leaves. Place lid on.
            • Slow cook on for 4 hours on high or for 8 hours on low.
